Glasgow Pretwick - (PIK - EGPK)                                                            Website : http://www.gpia.co.uk/

Situated about 40 miles on the south west of Glasgow, Prestwick Airport is dedicated to the low-cost traffic. Main of 20 dally flights are operated by Ryanair, others by Wizzair. Some charters flights depart from Prestwick during summer. This is a military field with sometime very special transport planes like galaxies, KC135, C130, or C17 from US Air Force or UK army. There is a terminal on the south west of two runways like a “7” called 13-31 on the north, 21-03 on the east.

Our trip to Prestwick begins at Charleroi Airport on 9th September 2008 aboard the Ryanair flight FR7923 (737-800 EI-DPD). At Prestwick Asirport, we walked to the spotting point runway 03 for some pictures. Unfortunately, rain falled all the day. We slept at the Premier Inn Hotel about 30 minutes to walk at the north of the runway spotting place. After 2 horrible rainy and could days without special traffic, we flew back to Charleroi aboard the FR7924 flight.
