Tokyo Narita International Airport ( NRT- RJAA)
The main international airport of Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is 60km northeast in the town of Nartita. The majority of international flights to Tokyo were moved from Haneda in 2004. The vast complex consists of three major terminals. The T1 mainly hosts international companies, T2 ANA and JAL and T3 local and low-cost airlines. By the density of its traffic, Narita opens Japan to the world. This sentence really makes sense only in the discovery of the number and names of the companies observed. Almost all major airlines, including Swiss, Alitalia, Air France, SAS, LOT, KLM, British Airways, Iberia, Aeroflot, Lufthansa and Finnair. From the USA: Delta, United, American Airlines operate many flights via the Pacific route. The Gulf companies are not outdone with Qatar, Emirates, Etihad. Asia, wealth is illustrated by the vast majority of both domestic, low cost and Oceania airlines come from flights Air Câlin, Qantas, Jetstar and Air New Zeland. I have not finished because the freighter is also very well represented with important bases DHL, FedEx and Ups and their incessant merry-go-round of the most varied flights. Other flights for freight are also operated by a wide variety of companies from around the world: Polar, Cathay, Air China Cargo, Hong Kong Cargo ... There is no military activity in Narita. Now let's talk about the Japanese based companies: ANA and Japan Airlines have a large fleet of small airplanes for local transport and large carriers for long-haul operations. Japan's low-cost airlines are doing well with Jetstar Japan, Peach, Vanilla Air and Spring Air Japan. The company Nippone Air Cargo and its impressive fleet of jumbos is also based on this terrain and its aircraft make the whole of the globe. All this traffic is distributed on two parallel runways on each side of the three oriented terminals 34L-16R and 34R-16L.

During our stay in Tokyo, we spent a little time three times at the Narita Airport for spotter. The first two hours we arrived on Japanese soil from the observation deck on the roof of terminal 2. We were able to do a lot of pictures of the 34R arrivals. Unfortunately, while the light became perfect then a change of procedure "towards the south" forced us to give up. We returned a few days later for an afternoon when we were lucky enough to have an amazing sun and cloud contrast. We closed our Japanese spotting expedition by two hours on the T1 "Observation Desk" for two hours before our return flight. You should know that the journey between downtown Tokyo and Narita is long and honorable. By classic train it takes 90 minutes of traffic and a price of up to 25 € per single journey for a fast train. It was these constraints that did not allow us to spend more time in our favorite hobby. During our spotting, we noticed that the choice of the tracks is decided according to the proximity of the parking. The 34R received all low-cost traffic and the majority of arrivals. The 34L was used for departures except low-cost, all the cargo arrivals and some landings for the terminal 1. Place to the images now and the illustration of this spotting high in variety!
